Description

(Frame shown is for illustrative purposes only)

This highly detailed art print of Barnstaple Train Station is obviously different to my other location prints but I thought that seeing as Barnstaple Train Station is the gateway for the many to this beautiful part of the country, it should be added to my collection of location art prints.

This art print features the fabulous Station Masters Cafe, a lovely place to stop and have a cuppa and a piece of cake after your journey, the platform and of course the train which arrives into the station hourly.

The station was first opened in 1854 and having once seen trains continue on to Bideford, Ilfracombe and Lynton and Lynmouth, now Barnstaple is the end of the line, which is a real shame. The old train tracks to Bideford were replaced with a footpath, now the Tarka Trail, and when walking or cycling this path you appreciate what a lovely train journey that would have been between the two towns.

For your information –

  • All my location paintings are painted from scratch on my iPad in the exact same way I would paint or draw on a piece of paper. They are not photos.
  • All prints are printed to order using Archival Matte Paper, which is acid-free, and has a heavyweight of 230gsm.
  • Please note – due to the fact that monitors often display colour, contrast and brightness differently, the print may appear slightly different to how it appears on your screen.
  • Shipping – Items will be carefully packaged and sent by The Royal Mail.
  • All of the artwork is my own and is not to be copied or resold (c) JJago JagosArt
